WebAVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a 5th- 12th grade college-readiness system designed to increase the number of students who enroll in four-year colleges or universities. Although AVID serves all students, it focuses on the least served students in the academic by placing them in the middle school and high school AVID elective class. WebThe AVID Site Team also works to align AVID goals with the school’s plan. Each year, SOAR’s School Site Council provides input and approves the school’s plan. The implementation and monitoring of SOAR’s early college high school and AVID school-wide program has several references in the AVUHSD’s LCAP:
